January offers low average rainfalls, 8 hours of sunshine daily and temperatures of 22-34 degrees. For those looking for adventure, then crisp mountains of snow are plentiful in the Alps and North American ski resorts, perfect for making fresh tracks during an Alpine wedding.
Hideaway in unrivaled luxury on one of the Maldives many picture postcard islands. Traditionally the Maldives experiences its dry season during November-April, however February is notably the driest month of the year with temperatures averaging 25-29 degrees. Soak up some sunshine and ancient culture in Cambodia’s enchanting city of Siem Reap, home to the Temples of Angkor. And for those who like to party head to Brazil for Rio’s world-famous carnival!
Experience the warm blue waters and sample the fiery cuisine of The Caribbean Islands during February-April when the days are sunny and dry. If you’re looking for dramatic mountain scenery, desert sands and long beaches as your wedding backdrop try Oman during the month of March for an average temperature of 25 degrees.
Avoid the crowds and visit Cyprus in the springtime when the fields are full of colourful flowers and the days are comfortably warm.
The exclusive Seychelles Islands with crystal clear waters and quite beaches offer calm breezes and little chance of rainfall in April.
Indulge on one of Australia’s luxury islands in the Great Barrier Reef. During May the weather is generally dry, there is good visibility for diving and the whale migrating season starts.
Explore the far-flung South Pacific, namely the island of Fiji, where average temperatures are at 28 degrees and May signals the end of the rainy season.
Before the tourist season really hot’s up, June in Italy offers temperatures of around 25 degrees, blue skies and only the odd day of rain.
June on the party island of Ibiza sees temperatures rising into the mid 20’s, crystal clear waters and fewer crowds.
July in France brings warm evenings with dramatic sunsets and comfortable offshore breezes…perfect for an al fresco dinner reception on the Cote D’Azur. Likewise, the rest of the Mediterranean is at its best during July, before the sun becomes too hot in August, host an exclusive wedding in your own private villa for the ultimate house party.
Visit the enchanting Indonesian island of Bali during June-September’s dry season with temperatures ranging between 24-31 degrees and low rainfall. Move inland to Bali's cultural centre, Ubud, for cooler temperatures and spectacular views over rice terraces and river valleys.
After the kids have gone back to school The Greek Islands start to relax, the prices become more affordable and the light begins to soften yet the temperatures are still in the high 20’s (excluding the Halkidiki Peninsula). Portugal and Spain will also offer warm days and quieter beaches during September. Or for those looking for something more exotic celebrate Moroccan style in your own private Riad.
During October, the African island of Mauritius is safely outside of cyclone season and a more comfortable 27-30 degrees, with less humidity and also notably a good time for snorkeling. For a wedding on safari, October is a great time to visit Tanzania with usually fine clear skies and sunny weather.
Explore the beaches and coastal towns of west coast Sri Lanka. Enjoy the island’s warm weather and calm seas during November-April, be sure to sample the delicious local cuisine and immerse yourself in the colourful and friendly culture.
December in Cape Town is early summer when you can expect blue skies with only the odd rain shower or two. Be sure to consider locations out of town including the world-class Constantia Winelands. (Other good months to visit are November-March).
November to March is the busiest yet best time to visit Thailand’s southwesterly coast, including the Andaman Islands. Amongst others, these are Phuket, Krabi, Koh Tao, Koh Yai, Yoh Naka, Phi Phi Island, Koh Lanta and Khao Lak.
